Privacy and Policy
To ensure that AJ Infotech can achieve greater success and provide better, more comprehensive products to our customers, we adhere to legal and ethical principles to protect the company’s assets, rights, and reputation, enabling sustainable growth and long-term development.
Accordingly, we have established the following Code of Conduct (hereinafter referred to as "this Code") to be observed.
Privacy Policy
1. Scope of Application and Fundamental Conduct Requirements
1-1 This Code applies to all members of AJ Infotech Ltd. and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as "AJ Infotech"), including directors, supervisors, managers, and employees (hereinafter referred to as "AJ Members").
1-2 As AJ Infotech operates global internet services, its affiliated companies or subsidiaries may establish and supplement stricter policies and guidelines in accordance with local regulations to complement this Code.
1-3 AJ Members must comply with all applicable laws and company policies and uphold the principles of "Environmental Protection, Energy Conservation, and Love for the Planet" as well as "Integrity and Honesty." They must adhere to all regulations issued by AJ Infotech, including employment contracts, this Code of Conduct, work rules, and information security policies.
All AJ Members have an obligation to carefully read, understand, and comply with this Code of Conduct and any revisions. AJ Infotech reserves the right to interpret, amend, or remove all or part of this Code, company policies, and other regulations. If AJ Members have any questions or concerns regarding the application of this Code, they should consult their direct supervisor or the Human Resources department at any time.
2. Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
2-1 A conflict of interest arises when an AJ Member’s personal activities or investments may impair their judgment in performing their duties or prevent them from acting in the best interests of AJ Infotech.
2-2 When recommending or appointing talent, AJ Members must prioritize the best interests of AJ Infotech and remain free from personal relationships' influence. AJ Members should avoid working in the same department or having a direct reporting relationship with their spouse, parents, children, second-degree blood relatives, in-laws, or individuals with a close personal relationship (hereinafter collectively referred to as "relatives and close associates"). Decisions related to employment (including evaluation, hiring, compensation, probation, or promotion) must be based on qualifications, performance, skills, and experience.
The relationships included within second-degree kinship are as follows:
・First-degree relatives: Parents, children; In-laws: Spouse, parents-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. ・Second-degree relatives: Grandparents, siblings, grandchildren; In-laws: Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles/aunts-in-law, co-siblings-in-law.
2-3 Without prior approval from the highest-ranking manager of the department, AJ Members are prohibited from managing, engaging in, or investing—whether in their own name or through another person (including relatives, third-degree blood relatives, agents, business partners, or other representatives)—in businesses that are the same as or similar to those of AJ Infotech. Additionally, AJ Members may not serve as employees, appointees, consultants, or hold any other positions in competing companies. However, if employment contracts or other specific regulations regarding investment proportions apply, such regulations shall take precedence.
2-4 AJ Members must remain vigilant and proactively avoid conflicts of interest related to their duties. They must not engage in any business, investment, or activity that may conflict with AJ Infotech’s interests, including but not limited to:
1. The improper use of company assets or misappropriation of third-party assets entrusted to the company. 2. The transfer of company resources or benefits to themselves or others. 3. Engaging in or facilitating transactions between AJ Infotech and any other company for personal or third-party gain, which may harm AJ Infotech’s interests.
2-5 AJ Members shall not, for personal gain or the benefit of others, use their position to recommend, sell, or broker any goods or services that are not provided by AJ Infotech.
2-6 If an AJ Member is uncertain whether their business, investment, or activity constitutes a conflict of interest with AJ Infotech, they must immediately report the matter to their direct supervisor. Additionally, they must complete a report form before initiating any related transactions, notify the Human Resources department head, and obtain approval from the highest-ranking manager of their department.
